The present invention belongs to the field of farming and raising animals, especially poultry. The present invention relates to a method for feeding poultry, with specific type of feed and to a specific composition for animal feed. In the most preferred embodiment, the feed is free of soybean protein or animal protein and comprises either wheat - pisum sativum - oat and vicia faba or wheat - pisum sativum - oat and zea mais. Furthermore, the present invention relates to an animal feed comprising the composition of the present invention, use of the animal feed of the present invention for feeding poultry and poultry meat obtainable from poultry, which has been fed by the feeding method of the present invention.La présente invention appartient au domaine de lagriculture et de lélevage danimaux, en particulier de volaille.
