METHOD FOR PRODUCING CERAMIC, WHICH CONTAINS ACTIVATED CARBON TO IMPROVE ADSORPTION PROPERTY, AFFINITY WITH MICROORGANISMS AND WASTE WATER TREATMENT EFFICIENCY
PURPOSE: A method for producing ceramic, which contains activated carbons, is provided to maximize adsorption property as a filter, affinity with microorganisms when used as a supporter, to improve wastewater treatment efficiency, and to control trace elements. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing ceramic containing activated carbons comprises: mixing 20-60wt% of a foaming agent with 20-60wt% of a filtering material; drying the mixture under atmospheric air; heating the dried mixture in a carburizing furnace at 500-1500deg.C without contact with air to provide ceramic, wherein the foaming agent comprises organic wastes such as food leftovers, saw dust and rice hulls, and industrial wastes, wherein the filtering material comprises loess, clay, white clay and kaolin.
