PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively radiate heat generated in an electronic circuit of an ultrasonic probe having a 2D array vibrator and an electronic circuit in a probe head.SOLUTION: An interposer (IP) 26 that forms a relay board is provided between a 2D array vibrator 18 and an electronic circuit 32. The interposer 26 includes a via array 28 for signal connection and a thermal diffusion layer 40 that extends in a horizontal direction. Thermal conduction occurs from each via 30 to the thermal diffusion layer 40, and the heat is transmitted to a frame 12 as a heat dissipation component through an exhaust heat via 43 and a pedestal base 44.
