PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise device capable of effectively performing stretch exercise for stretching the muscle of the back and relaxing the waist or the back, by imparting twist exercise to the waist or the back such as the back/scapula of a user.SOLUTION: An exercise device 1 of the present invention has a cylindrical base body 2, a ring body 10 for surrounding the base body 2 in the circumferential direction, and a cover body 14 mantled to the base body 2. The base body 2 is a cylindrical body and has a drive unit 28 arranged inside in a fixed state. The ring body 10 is protruded to the outside in the radial direction of the base body 2 and is rotated in the circumferential direction to the base body 2. The cover body 14 is a bottomed tubular body, is fitted in a loosely fitting state from an end in the longitudinal direction of the base body 2, and is connected to the ring body 10. The cover body 14 and the ring body 10 become a rotating body 9. The rotating body 9 co-rotates to the base body 2 by that the cover body 14 is united with the ring body 10 when the ring body 10 is rotated by the drive unit 28.
