The present invention relates to a dietary tablet comprising a core containing a microencapsulated oil part and an effervescent agent, a coat which isolates the core from the environment and protects the core from oxidation and at least one ingredient giving taste. Suitable oils are preferably chosen from oils rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
