PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously achieve image quality improvement, the reduction of the occurrence frequency of artifacts and the reduction of exposure of patients in an X-ray CT apparatus.SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus 10 comprises: a top plate 12 for placing a patient M a rotation part 15 for holding an X-ray tube 21 and an X-ray detector 24 and integrally rotating the X-ray tube 21 and the X-ray detector 24 around the patient M a rack apparatus 11 for holding the rotation part 15 and a scan control part for performing helical scan while controlling the top plate 12, the X-ray tube 21 and the rotation part 15.
