PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image extractor which enables the highly precise extraction of a prescribed constituent part from an image of an object.
SOLUTION: The device is provided with: the first extraction part which extracts domains that satisfy extraction requirements from image-oriented features possessed by the prescribed constituent part making up the object the first classification part which analyzes the domains extracted by the first extraction part to classify the domains depending on whether they belong to the prescribed constituent sites or not the second extraction part which extracts a new domain that satisfies extraction requirements lower than those satisfied by the domains already extracted and the second classification part which classifies the new domain as those belonging to the constituent part and those not belonging to it according to a relationship showing how the new domain extracted by the second extraction is adjacent to those already extracted.
