PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic imparting good curl effect to eyelashes without forming lumps when used.
SOLUTION: The cosmetic for eyelashes comprises (A) &ge10 mass% nonvolatile component containing &ge70 mass% nonvolatile component being solid at normal temperature and containing a film-forming polymer (a) having characteristics of the following items (i) and (ii) and &le30 mass% nonvolatile component being liquid at normal temperature and (B) &ge30 mass% volatile component and comprises the component (a) in an amount of 0.6-15 mass% based on total cosmetic. (i) The rate (&DeltaW) of change of polymer content from a time when film hardness became a pencil hardness of 2B to a time when the polymer was completely dried is &ge13 mass%. (ii) The weight-average molecular weight is 5,000 to 2,000,000.
