Said soft container has: a container body for accommodating the cosmetic material； and a make-up tool for taking at least a part of the cosmetic material out of the container body and applying the same. Said cosmetic material contains (a) 5-50 mass% of wax, (b) 0.1-5 mass% of a dextrin fatty acid ester, and (c) 40-90 mass% of a polar oil. In regard to the hardness of the cosmetic material, a first hardness in a state of reducing the hardness by applying a shearing stress is less than 10 gf. In regard to the hardness of the cosmetic material, a second hardness after the shear stress is applied and the cosmetic material is then left standing is higher than the first hardness, and is 7 gf or higher.
