PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economic and safety head housing.SOLUTION: A handheld tool (1) for a dentist includes a grip sleeve (2), a head housing (9) disposed at a forward end of the grip sleeve (2) to accommodate or hold a treatment instrument (4). The head housing (9) has a substantially cylindrical hollow chamber (7). The hollow chamber is connected with a connection area facing toward the grip sleeve (2) via at least one connection hole (10, 20). The connection hole (10, 20) is joined at the end facing toward the grip sleeve (2) with a medium conduit (50) extending through the grip sleeve (2).
