To provide an epochmaking yarn housing implement and a suture housing implement both of which have an extremely high commodity value.
SOLUTION: The yarn housing implement is used for housing yarn 1 and constituted so that a bobbin part 3 for winding the yarn 1 is provided to the peripheral edge part of a plate-like substrate 2 and a pair of yarn holding parts 4, which are protruded outwardly to be arranged at opposed positions and prevent the falling-off of the yarn 1 wound around the bobbin part 3, are provided to the bobbin part 3. A pair of the yarn holding parts 4 are closed in a normal state, opened when the predetermined region of the plate-like substrate 2 is pressed and deformed in its front and rear direction and have yarn passing parts 8, which permit the passage of the yarn 1, formed thereto.
