PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge top surface stripe-shaped soil cover forming machine capable of efficiently forming a well-ordered, stripe-shaped soil cover at a planting hole of a sheet covering a ridge, and cleanly exposing an upper surface of the sheet other than the soil cover.SOLUTION: A ridge top surface stripe-shaped soil cover forming machine comprises, in a front and back of a machine body 1 bottom side: a rotary 3 for scraping and putting a soil in a ridge furrow on top surfaces of flat ridges on both sides and two drive wheels 2 with a vehicle width allowing the machine to travel in the ridge furrow. The machine body 1 comprises a mover part for rotating the rotary 3 and the drive wheels 2 through a mission and a driving handle 18 protruding to the upper rear. On both sides of the machine body 1 between the rotary 3 and the drive wheels 2, laterally long soil cover forming plates 5 with each plate surface 5a facing forward are protruded to be backwardly inclined to the lateral side in a truncated chevron shape through a forming plate support member 4.
