PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine in which plural medicines are combined, having excellent effects of prevention/therapy of diabetes, diabetes-related diseases or diabetes complications and having no adverse effects.SOLUTION: A medicine is obtained by combining (A) a 1-thio-D-glucitol compound represented by the formula (I) like (1S)-1,5-anhydro-1-[5-(4-ethoxybenzyl)-2-methoxy-4-methylphenyl]-1-thio-D-glucitol with (B) one or more selected from a biguanide drug, an insulin secretion promoter, an insulin sensitivity potentiator, an insulin, a dipeptidyl peptidase IV inhibitor, an &alpha；-glucosidase inhibitor and a GLP-1 agonist.【課題】糖尿病、糖尿病関連疾患または糖尿病合併症の予防・治療効果が優れ、かつ、副作用が見られない、複数の医薬を組み合わせた医薬の提供。【解決手段】（Ａ）（１Ｓ）－１,５－アンヒドロ－１－［５－（４－エトキシベンジル）－２－メトキシ－４－メチルフェニル］－１－チオ－Ｄ－グルシトールの様な式（Ｉ）で表わされる１－チオ－Ｄ－グルシトール化合物と、（Ｂ）ビグアナイド薬、インスリン分泌促進薬、インスリン感受性増強薬、インスリン、ジペプチジルペプチダーゼＩＶ阻害剤、α－グルコシダーゼ阻害剤及びＧＬＰ－１作動薬から選ばれる１種以上、とを組み合わせてなる医薬。【選択図】なし
