PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device that suppresses a drop in light quantity caused by moisture adhered to surfaces of bodies and hair.SOLUTION: The light irradiation device includes: an irradiation part 6 for radiating near infrared light and a body 1 in which the irradiation part 6 is provided at one end. The irradiation part 6 has: a light source 7 that emits the near infrared light and an irradiation port 11 that lets out the near infrared light of the light source 7 to the outside. The light source 7 has light-emitting diodes 10 for emitting light toward the irradiation port 11.
