PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material in which the structural control of composite powder is possible by controlling the distance between particle surfaces, and visible light transmittance and ultraviolet ray shielding properties are enhanced.SOLUTION: The composite particle is composed of a planar or flaky granular substance (mother particle) in which particle size is <30 &mum and the aspect ratio ((the quotient) in division of particle diameter by the particle thickness) is &le100, and a granular substance (child particle) whose particle diameter is <0.1 &mum, applied to the surface of the granular substance (mother particle). The granular substance (mother grain) is made of natural sericite.
