<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus camera taking a best fundus image in both mydriasis time and non-mydriasis time. <;P>;SOLUTION: A fundus Er of an eye to be examined is irradiated with light from an observation light source LA via a lighting system, and a fundus image is taken by a photographing optical system. An aperture diaphragm 31 is arranged in a position substantially conjugate to the crystalline lens front face of the eye to be examined in the photographing optical system. When a visible light cut filter F is inserted and the wavelength of the light source LA is changed to IR light from the visible light, an aperture diaphragm 30 with a diameter smaller than that of the aperture diaphragm 31 is inserted into the position substantially conjugate to the inside of the crystalline of the eye to be examined. When the wavelength of the light source is changed, masks 32 and 33 deciding a photographing area are changed according to the change in the wavelength of the light source. By this structure, the best fundus image can be photographed in photography during both mydriasis time and non-mydriasis time. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
