An ophthalmologic photographing apparatus (1) which is used to observe and photograph a fundus oculi (Ef) of an eye (E) to be examined, includes an observation light source (101) illuminating the eye to observe the fundus oculi of the eye, a photographing light source (103) illuminating the eye to photograph an image (Ef) of the fundus oculi of the eye, an aperture (121) through which light illuminated from either the observation light source or the photographing light source and reflected on the fundus oculi of the eye is observed or photographed, and a control device (140) which is configured to control an opening area of the aperture. The control device sets the opening area of the aperture to an opened observing opening area when observing the fundus oculi, and to a narrowed photographing opening area when photographing the image of the fundus oculi.
