FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: optical impression of the patients dentition is obtained using an intraoral scanner. On the virtual dentition model, using the CAD/CAM dental software, a digital prototype of mouth guard is simulated to determine teeth mobility, so that a gap is programmed between the mouth guard surface and the teeth to be examined along the perimeter, which is 1.5 times the amplitude of teeth mobility in the vestibule-oral direction, determined clinically using dental tweezers and a periodontal probe. In the projection of the clinical equator center of the vestibular surface of teeth to be examined, through holes are modeled in the mouth guard, in the vestibular direction from which polymer cones, monolithically connected to the mouth guard, depart, the internal diameters of which correspond to the outer diameters of the periotest meter sensor nozzle. Subsequently, a digital prototype of the device is transferred to a polymer mouth guard to determine mobility by prototyping using 3D printing. The supporting beams are removed from the obtained mouth guard, disinfected with solutions, sterilized by UV radiation and fixed in the oral cavity of the patient. A periotest sensor is installed in the polymer cones at a distance 2 mm, corresponding to the gap between the teeth being examined and the mouth guard surface.
