A bite guard to protect an individuals teeth, tongue, and/or mouth during medical procedures and tests. The bite guard is designed to be placed in an individuals mouth between the upper and lower set of teeth during certain medical procedures such as motor evoked potential (MEP) testing which is known to cause an individuals jaws muscles to contract. The present invention will protect the teeth, tongue and mouth of an individual by preventing the upper and lower teeth from coming in contact while maintaining a bridged opening for the placement of tubular inserts as well as maintain unobstructed breathing space.
