The present invention relates to a novel VEGFR2 antibody for use in the prevention or treatment of macular degeneration and cancer, which is an angiogenesis-related disease. The antibody of the present invention is an antibody that specifically binds to VEGFR2 that is overexpressed in vascular endothelial cells. The antibodies of the present invention have homology to the sequences of the VEGFR2 target antibodies that are very homologous to those of the CDR sequences of the conventional VEGFR2 target antibodies. Since the antibody of the present invention has the ability to inhibit vascular endothelial cell growth equivalent to that of lambsilimum, which has been used in a single treatment, it is very effective in the prevention or treatment of angiogenesis-related diseases.본 발명은 혈관신생관련 질환인 황반변성 및 암 예방 또는 치료에 이용되는 신규한 VEGFR2 항체에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 항체는 혈관내피세포에서 과발현되는 VEGFR2에 특이적으로 결합하는 항체이다. 본 발명의 항체는 종래의 VEGFR2 타겟 항체들의 CDR 서열과 비교하여 상동성이 매우 낮아, 그 서열의 독특함이 있다. 본 발명의 항체는 단독처리 시 기존에 사용되고 있는 라무시루맙과 동등한 혈관내피세포 성장 저해 능력을 갖기 때문에, 혈관신생관련 질환의 예방 또는 치료에 매우 유효하다.
