The present invention relates to a recombinant binding protein comprising a binding domain specific for VEGF-A, particularly a binding domain which inhibits VEGF-Axxx binding to VEGFR-2. An example of such a binding protein is a protein comprising an ankyrin repeat domain with the desired binding specificity.
