[PROBLEMS] To provide a composite dessert having a novel texture of the combination of ice cream with pretzel and a process for producing the same. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An ice dessert comprising a stick- or cylinder-shaped pretzel, an edible waterproof layer partly or entirely coating the outside of the pretzel and an ice cream layer coating the outside of the edible waterproof layer, wherein a part not coated with the ice cream layer serves as a handle. A process for producing the same involves preparing a stick-type pretzel, freezing it with a coolant, coating the outside of the pretzel with chocolate and forming an ice cream coating layer while remaining a part serving as a handle.
