PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing fine bran which has high content of alkylresorcinol and is useful as a food material.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing fine bran of the present invention has a step of classifying a ground product of wheat bran into a fine particle fraction having a median diameter less than 50 μm and other fractions and collecting the fine particle fraction. Preferably, particles having a median diameter of 30 μm or less are collected from the fine particle fraction.
