PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new prophylactic or therapeutic agents for keratoconjunctive diseases which are particularly caused by dry eye.SOLUTION: The prophylactic or therapeutic agents for the keratoconjunctive diseases include sofalcone which is an isoprenyl chalcone compound represented by formula (1) as an active ingredient. As for the prophylactic or therapeutic agents, the keratoconjunctive diseases are particularly preferably caused by the dry eye. Any of punctate superficial keratitis, corneal epithelial defect, conjunctival epithelial defect, corneal erosion, keratoconjunctivitis or corneal ulcer is preferable as the keratoconjunctive diseases caused by the dry eye.
