The present invention relates generally to the field of flavan-3-ols. In particular, the present invention provides a way to increase the bioavailability of flavan-3-ols. Embodiments of the present invention relate to the use of at least one polyphenolic compound in a composition comprising at least one flavan-3-ol for increasing the bioavailability of said flavan-3-ol, wherein the at least one polyphenolic compound is selected from a group consisting of flavonols, flavones, isoflavones, flavanones, or combinations thereof.La présente invention concerne généralement le domaine des flavan-3-ols. En particulier, la présente invention concerne une voie pour améliorer la biodisponibilité de flavan-3-ols.
