PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a wearing article which is capable of stably and continuously manufacturing the wearing article enhanced in finish precision even if a stretchable sheet is used.
SOLUTION: The method manufactures a wearing article having the leg parts positioned around the legs of a wearer when wearing the wearing article, and the method includes a leg part forming step for joining and integrating first and second sheets 120 and 130 to obtain a composite sheet 110 and forming the leg parts (leg holes 112) in the composite sheet 110, and a stretching step for making the composite sheet 110 having the leg holes 112 formed therein undergo stretching processing to apply stretchability to the composite sheet 110.
