PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical rotary cord cutter for a bush cutter, facilitating attachment or exchange of a resin cord, enabling bush cutting to be carried out surely, capable of preventing the partial wear or the useless wear of the resin cord, providing improved durability of the resin cord, having a simple structure, and facilitating the treatment and the maintenance.SOLUTION: The rotary cord cutter for the bush cutter includes a cutter base (A) and a plurality of the string-shaped resin cords B. The cutter base (A) includes a center boss part A1, an outer periphery plate part A2 connected to the outer periphery of the center boss part A1, and a plurality of protrusion parts A3 protruded upward from the upper surface of the outer periphery plate part A2. The protrusion part A3 is formed so that a cord-inserting hole 2 being a cord-attaching part is bored in the inward bent surface in the vicinity to the rotational center from the most protruded point P which is a crossing point of a bent surface 3 and the tangential line passing the rotational center of the cutter base (A), as a border, when the surface at the front side in the rotational direction of the cutter base (A) is the bent surface 3 protruded in the rotational direction in a plan view.
