PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can continuously tightly contact a body even during movement of a wearer.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises a first bent part 41a and a second bent part 41b extending in a width direction on a rear side of an excreting part contact area S1. The absorbent article comprises: a first area R1 which is adjacent to the first bent part on a front side of the first bent part a second area R2 which is adjacent to the second bent part on a rear side of the second bent part and a first intermediate area 41 provided between the first bent part and the second bent part, in a cross direction L. A basis weight of an absorbent material of the first intermediate area is lower than basis weights of absorbent materials of the first and second areas. The first bent part, the second bent part, and the first intermediate area extend from a center line, beyond an intermediate point of an outside edge of the absorbent core and the center line in a width direction.
