PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze functional substances contained in leaves of Helianthus tuberosus to increase effective use of Helianthus tuberosus, establish an extract method for obtaining extract effectively containing the same, and further provide a food and pharmaceutical composition containing the Helianthus tuberosus leaf extract as effective ingredients.SOLUTION: The present invention relatives to Helianthus tuberosus leaf extract having an action of reducing symptoms of pollinosis, and a food and pharmaceutical composition containing the same.
