PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens insertion instrument capable of suitably deforming and injecting an intraocular lens.SOLUTION: The intraocular lens insertion instrument includes: a passage 20b in which a passage area becomes gradually smaller as approaching to the tip side internal surfaces 24a and 24b formed at both the sides in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the passage and parallel to the radial direction of an optical part 110 of an intraocular lens 100 disposed inside the passage an extrusion member for extruding the intraocular lens and a lens control mechanism for controlling the orientation of the intraocular lens in the circumferential direction of the optical part, by advancing a contact part of the extrusion member with the intraocular lens towards the internal surface after the intraocular lens is extruded towards the tip side by the extrusion member in a state in which a first support part is positioned closer to the tip side than the optical part in the passage so that the first support part is bent with the tip part positioned at the inner side than the outer peripheral part of the optical part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】眼内レンズを好適に変形して射出できる眼内レンズ挿入器具を提供する。【解決手段】眼内レンズ挿入器具は、先端側に向かうにつれて通路面積が徐々に小さくなる通路20bと、通路の軸方向に直交する方向であって、通路内に配置される眼内レンズ100の光学部110の径方向に平行な方向について両側に形成される内壁面24a、24bと、眼内レンズを押し出す押出部材と、通路内にて第1支持部が光学部よりも先端側に位置する状態で眼内レンズが押出部材により先端側に押し出され、第1支持部が折れ曲って第1支持部の先端部分が光学部の外周部分よりも内側に配置されたとき以降に、押出部材における眼内レンズとの接触部を内壁面に向けて進行させることにより、光学部の周方向についての眼内レンズの向きを制御するレンズ制御機構と、を有する。【選択図】図15
