The present invention discloses a composition for anti-inflammation using a Cornus oblonga extract which inhibits the expression of inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α) in a concentration-dependent manner in mouse macrophage lines (RAW 264.7 cells) stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS), inhibits the expression of iNOS and mPGES-1, which are inflammation mediators, and has an activity of inhibiting the activation of NF-kB, a transcription factor inducing inflammatory cytokines.본 발명은, LPS(lipopolysaccharide)로 자극된 마우스 대식세포주(RAW 264.7 cells)에서 농도 의존적으로 염증성 사이토카인(IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α)의 발현을 억제하고, 염증매개인자인 iNOS와 mPGES-1의 발현을 억제하며, 이들 염증성 사이토카인 등의 발현을 유도하는 전사인자인 NF-kB의 활성화를 억제하는 활성을 가진, 코르너스 오블롱가 추출물을 이용한 항염증용 조성물을 개시한다.
