PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester in which a raising device does not interfere an operation performed by an operator in hand threshing work, and which achieves efficient hand threshing work.SOLUTION: A root crop harvester comprises: a pulling transport device 24 for gripping a foliage of a crop for pulling the crop out and transporting the crop； and raising devices 25, 26 for guiding the foliage of the crop to the pulling transport device 24. The raising devices 25, 26 comprise: a vertical raising device 25 for raising the foliage from a field plane； and a lateral raising device 26 for guiding the foliage raised by the vertical raising device 25 to a transport start end of the pulling transport device 24.
