PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester in which a raising device does not interfere an operation performed by an operator in hand threshing work, and which achieves efficient hand threshing work.SOLUTION: A root crop harvester comprises: a pulling transport device 24 for gripping a foliage of a crop for pulling the crop out and transporting the crop; and raising devices 25, 26 for guiding the foliage of the crop to the pulling transport device 24. The raising devices 25, 26 comprise: a vertical raising device 25 for raising the foliage from a field plane; and a lateral raising device 26 for guiding the foliage raised by the vertical raising device 25 to a transport start end of the pulling transport device 24.
