The present invention relates to a brake system of a surgical robot and, more particularly, to a brake system for braking a pair of casters separately installed in front and rear sides of a lower end of a robot base of a surgical robot. The brake system comprises: rotary units separately connected between front casters and rear casters of a robot base a link unit linked between the rotary units a brake pedal connected to the rotary units at a rear side of a lower end of the robot base to rotate the rotary units a brake release pedal arranged in parallel with the brake pedal to perform a sliding movement by being in contact with the rotary units a release lever linked between a lower end of the brake release pedal and a lower portion of the brake pedal to perform a seesaw movement and a cam unit connected to the rotary units at an upper end of each of the casters to perform a brake operation.
