PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus capable of facilitating an alignment adjustment operation and enabling radioscopy.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus described in an embodiment includes: an X-ray generating part for generating an X-ray to a subject and an X-ray detecting part for detecting the X-ray transmitted through the subject. The X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes: an X-ray diaphragm part a calculating part and a control part. The X-ray diaphragm part adjusts an irradiation width of an X-ray generated by the X-ray generating part. The calculating part calculates a deviation amount between the X-ray irradiation range and the detection range of the X-ray detecting part on the basis of the relative position between the X-ray generating part and the X-ray detecting part and a state of the X-ray diaphragm part.
