PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in diffusivity of an excretion liquid even when the excretion liquid is repeatedly absorbed, and exhibits excellent absorption performance.SOLUTION: An absorbent core 40 comprises non-fiber stacking parts 5 extended in a vertical direction X. The non-fiber stacking parts 5 are continuous from an inner position in the vertical direction X of an abdominal side vertical end 40F of the absorbent core 40 on an abdominal side part 1F, to an inner position in the vertical direction X of a back side vertical end 40R of the absorbent core 40 on a back side part 1R, through a crotch part 1M. A compaction part 6 (high density part) formed by compacting core formation materials, is provided on each of both ends of the non-fiber stacking parts 5 in the vertical direction X, on the abdominal side part 1F and the back side part 1R.
