PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel moisture-controlling cultivation method for citrus including giving appropriate moisture stress to the citrus to improve the quality of a fruit, and to provide a moisture stress measuring instrument for citrus.SOLUTION: The moisture-controlling cultivation method for citrus includes touching a fruit with fingers to feel the hardness of the fruit and comparing the hardness of the fruit, using synthetic resin fruit models 12 each imitating the fruit in the developing stage of the vacuoles of the citrus so as to determine suitability of moisture stress in a fruit tree and control soil moisture based on the determination result.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】適当な水分ストレスを与えて、果実の品質を向上させることが出来る、新規な柑橘類の水分制御栽培方法及び柑橘類の水分ストレス測定具を提供することを、目的とする。【解決手段】柑橘類の液胞発達期において、果実の硬さを手指で触取すると共に、果実を模した合成樹脂製の果実モデル12を用いて硬さの触感を比較することにより、果樹における水分ストレスの適否を判断し、その判断結果に基づいて土壌水分をコントロールする。【選択図】図1
