PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-moist or soft-dry pet food using a heat treated paste.SOLUTION: The method for producing a dry, semi-moist, or soft-dry pet food includes coating 100 pts.mass of oil and fat heated and kneaded at a temperature of 70-150 °C for 5-30 minutes to be caked at a temperature of 40°C or lower with the paste containing 10-200 pts.mass of cereal flour and/or starch.
