PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture needle allowing an operator to efficiently penetrate the puncture needle into a sacrospinal ligament with small force even in a narrow working space and allowing either of left/right hand use.SOLUTION: A puncture needle 10 includes: a handle part 12 to be held with the right hand or the left hand an extension rod part 14 integrally connected to the handle part 12 and a substantially semicircular curved needle part 16 that is integrally connected to the tip end of the extension rod part 14.
