PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a puncture instrument that is equipped with an adjustment mechanism and is safe and highly reliable.SOLUTION: A puncture instrument 100 comprises: a hub hold rod 110 that includes a rod body part 111 allowing a lancet to be detachably connected to a tip thereof and includes a collision part 112 attached to the rod body part 111 in a position-adjustable manner a housing 120 that includes a passage 120a allowing axial migration of the hub hold rod 110 a drive part 130 that temporarily moves the hub hold rod 110 at least from a first position to a second position within the passage 120a an inhibition part 121 whose position is fixed and that inhibits passing of the collision part 112 and a positioning part 113 that is provided in a manner capable of adjusting a position of the collision part 112. The first position does not change by the position of the collision part 112 however, the second position changes according to the position of the collision part 112.
