PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRA image improved in a contrast between the vascular flow and a parenchymal part by securely emphasizing inflow effect of the vascular flow without dosing a contrast medium upon executing the PI method or the PE-AFI method.
SOLUTION: A pulse sequence to regulate the order of data collecting set so as to place echo data collected in a desired phase during one cardiac cycle of the subject onto the central part including a zero encode position in a phase encoding direction in the k space is used in this MRI apparatus. Scanning for imaging is executed for a desired section of the subject under the electrocardiographic synchronization method and simultaneously echo signals generated by the execution of the scanning are collected. The echo signals are converted to echo data and placed in the k space. An image in a real space is reconstructed from the echo data in the k space.
