Provided are an emulsifier-containing fat composition and method for producing the emulsifier-containing fat composition, with which blending (adding, mixing, and the like of an emulsifier and fat), storage of the emulsifier-containing fat composition, and sedimentation of the emulsifier component during transport and the like are improved. A method for producing an emulsifier-containing fat composition containing one or more types of emulsifier selected from sucrose fatty acid esters, polyglycerol fatty acid esters, and sorbitan fatty acid esters； wherein the emulsifier-containing fat composition is produced by performing an acid treatment step and lowering the soap content in the emulsifier-containing fat composition to 5 ppm or lower.
