The coupling (11) has a first pipe support component rotatably attached with respect to a second pipe support component. The pipe support components form an inner pipe duct portion through which the cold medium is made to flow, and an outer bearing i.e. single-row radial ball bearing, spaced at distance from the inner pipe duct portion. A spacing unit is formed for spacing the bearing at the distance from the duct portion, so that heat flow between the pipe duct portion and the bearing is reduced. Temperature of the cold medium is adjusted such that a grease lubrication of bearing is enabled. An independent claim is also included for a method for transporting a cold medium by a pipe coupling.
