PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of being formed narrow to be fitted to the width of the crotch of a wearer and capable of comfortably fitting in the crotch area.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes: a main absorber 2 including a liquid-permeable top sheet 3, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 4 and a first main absorbent core 5 disposed between the sheets and including pulp fiber a first auxiliary absorber 11 disposed on one side in the width direction of the upper surface of the main absorber 2 and a second auxiliary absorber 21 disposed on the other side in the width direction of the upper surface of the main absorber. The outer sides in the width direction x of the first auxiliary absorber 11 and the second auxiliary absorber 21 are joined to the main absorber 2 out of either side edge in the width direction x of the first main absorber core 5, but the inner sides in the width direction x of the auxiliary absorbers are not joined to the main absorber 2.
