The rotors are equipped with a rotor core, a magnet overlaid on and affixed to the rotor core, and a retaining yoke, which is a magnetic body retaining the rotor core. The retaining yoke has a wall section that is smaller than the thickness of the magnet in the axial direction, and that reinforces the outer periphery of the magnet.
