PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire, when a guide wire is pushed in, allowing an operator to favorably feel resistance received from a narrow area and safely and smoothly delivering the guide wire to the narrow area.SOLUTION: A distal tip 30 has a tapered part 31, a diameter of which is tapered toward a distal end, and at least one recess 35 is provided at an outer peripheral surface 32 of the tapered part 31 so as to, while securing insertion facility with respect to the narrow area, increase a contact area between the distal tip 30 and the narrow area and to easily transmit information at the distal end of the guide wire 1A to an operator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】ガイドワイヤを押し込んだときに狭窄部から受ける抵抗を、手技者が良好に感ずることが可能であり、かつ安全かつ円滑に狭窄部まで到達できるガイドワイヤを提供する。【解決手段】先端チップ30が、先端に向かって外径が減少する先細部31を有し、先細部31の外周面32に、凹部35が少なくとも一つ設けられているため、狭窄部に対する挿入容易性を確保しつつ、先端チップ30と狭窄部との接触面積を増やしてガイドワイヤ1Aの先端の情報を手技者に伝達させ易い。【選択図】図2
