PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire that enables an operator to satisfactorily feel both of a resistance received from a lesion part when the guide wire is pushed in and a resistance received from the lesion part when the guide wire is rotated.SOLUTION: On the surface of the distal end chip 30 of the guide wire 1, a plurality of projections are provided which are rectangular or elliptical shapes in the plane view, with their longitudinal directions set to cross each other. As a result, a resistance received from a lesion part when the guide wire 1 is pushed in and a resistance received from the lesion part when the guide wire 1 is rotated are both made susceptible to the surface of the distal end chip 30. Thus, these resistances become more perceptible to the operator, facilitating search of a suitable route even if vascular travel is obscure, and facilitating passage of the guide wire 1 to the lesion part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】ガイドワイヤを押し込んだときに病変部から受ける抵抗と、ガイドワイヤを回転させたときに病変部から受ける抵抗との両方を、術者が良好に感ずることが可能なガイドワイヤを提供する。【解決手段】ガイドワイヤ1の先端チップ部30の表面に、平面視での形状が長方形または楕円形の複数の凸部を設けることとし、且つ、それらの長軸方向を、互いに交差する方向に設定する。こうすることで、ガイドワイヤ1を押し込んだときに病変部から受ける抵抗と、ガイドワイヤ1を回転させたときに病変部から受ける抵抗との両方を、先端チップ部30の表面で受け易くすることができる。その結果、これらの抵抗を術者が感じ取り易くなるので、血管走行が不明瞭な場合であっても適切な通過経路を探索し易くなり、病変部にガイドワイヤ1を通過させ易くすることが可能となる。【選択図】図2
