PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a tilling operation and road running in a simply structured walking-type tiller having a rotary tilling device and an idling wheel.SOLUTION: In a walking-type tiller having an idling wheel 14 arranged on one side at the front or rear of a rotary tilling device 8 and rotating freely, and a steering handle 5 extending from one side at the front or rear of a machine body, the walking-type tiller is grounded and supported by the rotary tilling device 8 and the idling wheel 14. Then, a brake device is provided in the idling wheel 14 so that the walking-type tiller is allowed to travel while being supported by the rotary tilling device 8 in a ground drive state and the idling wheel 14 in a free rotation state, and a field is also tilled by the rotary tilling device 8 in a ground drive state and the idling wheel 14 in a brake force application state brought by the brake device.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】ロータリ耕耘装置及び遊転車輪を備えた歩行型耕耘機において、簡単な構成で耕耘作業及び路上走行を可能にする。【解決手段】ロータリ耕耘装置8の前後一側に配設されている遊転する遊転車輪14と、機体の前後一側から延出している操向ハンドル5とを備えた歩行型耕耘機において、ロータリ耕耘装置8と遊転車輪14とで歩行型耕耘機を接地支持する。そして、遊転車輪14にブレーキ装置を設け、接地駆動状態のロータリ耕耘装置8と遊転状態の遊転車輪14により歩行型耕耘機を支持しながら走行し、また、接地駆動状態のロータリ耕耘装置8とブレーキ装置により制動力付与状態の遊転車輪14により圃場を耕耘する。【選択図】図1
