The present invention provides a compound having especially excellent effect of reducing ocular pressure, which was found from numerous pyridylaminoacetic acid compounds, and is useful as a treatment or prophylaxis agent for glaucoma or ocular hypertension, or ocular pressure reducing agent. This invention also provides a method for use and /or dosage of this compound to obtain an effectiv treatment or prophylaxis effect to patient (especially human) when administrated.The present invention also provides a medical composition for the treatment or prophylaxis of glaucoma or ocular hypertension which comprising isopropyl (6-{[4-(pyrazole-1-yl)benzyl](pyridine-3-ylsulfonyl) aminomethyl}pyridine-2-ylamino)acetate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, at the content of 0.0003 to 0.01% (w/v).本發明係從龐大數量之吡啶基胺基乙酸化合物中發現何種化合物具有特別優越之眼壓下降作用，可成為青光眼或高眼壓症之治療或預防劑或眼壓下降劑，又，將發現之化合物以何種用法及/或用量投予於病患(主要是人類)時可獲得有效之治療效果或預防效果。本發明提供將(6-{[4-(吡唑-1-基)苯甲基](吡啶-3-基磺醯基)胺基甲基}吡啶-2-基胺基)乙酸異丙酯或其鹽作成含量0.0003至0.01%(w/v)之醫藥製劑，用於治療或預防青光眼或高眼壓症，或用於降低眼壓。
