A list member (10) comprises a flexible tube (26) comprising an axis passing through an inner part surrounded by a wall. The wall of the flexible tube comprises plural lumens which are oriented so as to become parallel to the axis of the flexible tube. The list member (10) comprises a proximate portion to be coupled to the operation end part of the slender shaft, and a distal portion to be coupled to the end effector (12).
