Internal combustion engine equipped single axle rear carriage for agricultural or gardening activities trailable by a self-propelled machine either with a single axle or with at least two axles
Implement-carrying rear carriage comprising: an internal combustion engine (4) a transmission casing assembly (9) to which the internal combustion engine is directly flanged and from which a power take-off shaft (20) having a grooved profile (20) and having size, speed and rotation direction conforming to the agricultural tractor standards projects at the rear, i.e. on the opposite side to the engine and an implement-carrying three point linkage comprising an adjustable rod (8) and lower arms (6) as well as a hydraulic lifting system. The rear carriage can be coupled to a single axle self-propelled machine (11) of which the driver, while sitting on the carriage seat (5), controls the way the self-propelled machine (11) is driven and controls the functions of the rear carriage, whereby a vehicle of the hybrid tractor kind is formed, since the whole is equipped with two engines, of which the engine of the self-propelled machine causes the forward movement and the engine of the rear carriage supplies the power take-off with power. The rear carriage can also be coupled to a self-propelled vehicle (13) with two or more axles, of which the driver controls the way the vehicle is driven and controls the functions of the rear carriage assembly being towed. In both cases, the implement for agricultural or gardening activities is operated independently of the forward movement and the kind of vehicle by which the rear carriage is towed and the control of the rotational speed of both engines, and hence of the power being supplied, takes place depending on the actual operation needs.
